The original team of fighters put together and trained by GBMAA president and Team England Head Coach, Master Curtis Page, the Predatorz started off as just a few talented people from a single club, known as the London Predators. From such humble beginnings, the Predatorz quickly grew to become the dominant force on the British Sport Martial Arts circuit.
Their success lay in their sporting adaptation of Master Page’s traditional Lau Gar classes, which were compulsory for all Predatorz who wished to compete. Their conditioning and skill saw them overthrow several of the countries elite squads, all of which were made up of hand-picked fighters from across the British Isles. Never before had they been defeated by fighters picked from just one club and never since has this happened again.

After over ten years of practically unrivaled success at the top of the national competition circuit, the London Predators suddenly disappeared. Far from hanging up their gloves and kick-boots, however, the team had simply chosen to focus on their roles as instructors, building the London Predators Black Belt Academy into the Great Britain Martial Arts Academies.
From one part-time school came several full-time Academies and after two years the London Predators returned as the Predatorz. No longer just an elite few from a single club, the Predatorz burst back onto the scene and reclaimed all of their old titles within their first year, even adding a few more to their now bulging trophy cabinets.
From the original 10 fighters of the London Predators, Master Page has seen his team grow into a squad which is now over 100 strong, with men women and children of all ages and abilities still carrying on the legacy.
